Dave Richards?

Who is Dave Richards? Well… Dave Richards is one of a number of up and coming tribal and tech house influenced progressive house producers. He’s not the king of the charts. He doesn’t want to be. He’s done his best to check his ego at the door. Sure he can say that he’s buds with one of the Shiloh brothers, or that he’s one of the guys Stryke hears about in his phone conversations with his friends, but that doesn’t make Dave Richards the Schnitz. So what does all that mean? It means he’s up and coming, so pay attention.

March 2006 marked the release of his debut EP, Liar’s with Egos on Next Dimension Music. For a first release on a relatively new label, it did pretty well. The EP was a mix of progressive house with techie baselines, drums that would not stop and vocals that focused on massive egos and love betrayed.

With several remixes and another single lined up for release on NDM at some point in the near future, Dave Richards isn’t going to be going away anytime soon.
